The event brought together urban water cycle management entities, professionals, technology companies and other key stakeholders in the sector from 18 to 21 November in Santa Maria da Feira (Aveiro district).
Águas do Tejo Atlântico (AdTA) took part in the National Meeting of Water and Sanitation Management Entities (ENEG 2025), held from 18 to 21 November in Santa Maria da Feira (Aveiro district, Portugal).
During its presentation, AdTA outlined the project’s objectives, drivers and methodology, highlighting its role in promoting sustainable solutions for water reuse in rural areas. The Portuguese partner also presented the features of the pilot demonstrator to be installed at the Zambujeira Water Factory (Lourinhã), whose main purpose is to demonstrate the technical feasibility of regenerating water through sustainable and environmentally responsible mechanisms.
A leading forum
The event, hosted by the Portuguese Association for Water Distribution and Drainage (APDA) under the theme “Water and Governance: Bridges to the Future”, once again brought together urban water cycle management entities, professionals, technology companies and other relevant actors in the sector. The 2025 edition focused on topics such as policy and governance, sustainability and resilience, innovation and technology, and community engagement, strengthening its position as a leading forum in Portugal in this field.
