El Instituto de Ciencias de la Vid y del Vino recibió a los estudiantes del Máster en Enología Innovadora de la Universidad de Vitoria

The day began with a guided tour of the ICVV’s laboratories and experimental winery, where students were able to explore the equipment and methodologies used in the various ongoing projects. Afterwards, they visited the experimental vineyard of the institute, where the vineyard pilot of the I-ReWater project, focused on the use of reclaimed urban water for irrigation, is being developed. In this pilot, which is managed on the La Grajera estate, the irrigation system and the tank for storing reclaimed water have already been installed. The students had the opportunity to observe the installation process of the sensors and participated in a technical presentation on the project.

The visit proved to be an educational experience, where participants were able to delve deeper into the application of advanced technologies, such as the use of reclaimed water in vineyard irrigation, reinforcing the importance of research and innovation to ensure long-term sustainability.
