On May 28th, the RePo-SUDOE project took part in the Open Day at Agrupamento de Escolas de Trancoso, offering secondary school students a unique opportunity to gain insight into the project’s main objectives and areas of focus.
Throughout the event, students engaged in interactive activities featuring Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies. These immersive tools allowed them to explore the complex interactions between different molecules, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm for the scientific world.
RePo-SUDOE’s involvement in this initiative highlights the consortium’s strong commitment to making science more accessible, engaging, and connected to society. The project also seeks to foster scientific literacy from an early age and to encourage young people’s interest in research and innovation, particularly in the health sector.
