From 18 to 21 November, the ENEG 2025 – Encontro Nacional de Entidades Gestoras de Água e Saneamento took place at Europarque in Santa Maria da Feira, under the theme “Água e Governança: Pontes para o Futuro” (Water and Governance: Bridges to the Future). The event brought together professionals, water utilities, and experts to discuss current challenges and future opportunities in the water sector.
During the conference, David Figueiredo from Águas do Tejo Atlântico presented the GestEAUr project, introducing its main objectives and outlining the Portuguese demonstration case.
Figueiredo highlighted that the Portuguese pilot, to be implemented in Torres Vedras, aims to promote water reuse for irrigation of green areas, reducing the consumption of drinking water and supporting more sustainable and resilient water management practices.
By participating in ENEG 2025, the GestEAUr project reinforces its commitment to innovation and effective water governance, building bridges toward a more sustainable future.
