New Training: Boosting Industrial Innovation in the RESINSURF Project

In the context of the RESINSURF Project of the Interreg Sudoe Programme, Adera-UT2A recently led a new training session at the Chrome Dur Industriel facilities, with a special focus on UV-Visible spectrophotometry analysis techniques. This initiative is part of the project’s efforts to drive innovation and technical excellence in the industrial sector, promoting knowledge transfer to small and medium-sized enterprises.

During two intensive days, the attendees—professionals from Chrome Dur Industriel—were able to deepen their understanding of the theoretical and practical fundamentals of UV-Visible spectrophotometry, essential for ensuring proper control of the trivalent chrome baths used in the RESINSURF Project. The training focused on understanding the scientific principles behind this technique, as well as its application for quality control and analysis in the industrial environment. Participants had the opportunity to carry out practical experiments, solve real cases, and discuss the challenges and solutions associated with this type of analysis.

The working atmosphere was especially enriching thanks to the high level of motivation and commitment of the teams, who shared their experiences and best practices. This exchange of ideas and knowledge not only strengthened the technical skills of the attendees, but also fostered the creation of a network of collaborative and proactive professionals.

Dr. Christine Gleyzes, a professional and, on this occasion, trainer at Adera-UT2A, would like to express her sincere gratitude to Laure and Fabrice for their hospitality, logistical support, and active participation throughout the training. Their involvement, Christine notes, was key to the success of these sessions and to strengthening cooperation within the RESINSURF Project.
