The members of the European RESINSURF project, coordinated by CIDETEC Surface Engineering, recently held a strategic meeting at the facilities of IPREM (Institut des Sciences Analytiques et de Physico-chimie pour l’Environnement et les Matériaux), a joint research center of the CNRS and the UPPA (Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour), specialized in the development of knowledge in physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, and microbiology applied to the environment and materials. The event, organized by the university itself with the support of ADERA-UT2A (a new entity joining the consortium—more information soon!), has provided an important boost for the development of more sustainable and competitive technologies in the field of surface treatment.
During the day, CIDETEC Surface Engineering led an intense organizational and technical exchange, addressing the main challenges and advances of the project. These meetings strengthen collaboration among partners and enable progress towards RESINSURF’s common goal: to replace toxic surface treatments with safer, smarter, and more ecological alternatives.
