FRUCTHOR-IA Project Launch Meeting

First Consortium Meeting:

The first consortium meeting of the FRUCTHOR-IA project took place in Arganda del Rey – Madrid on July 15th and 16th, according to the attached agenda. The meeting was held at the facilities of CAR-CSIC – Centre for Automation and Robotics, with the participation of all consortium partners.

During the meeting, the initial points and the start of work for the different Working Groups were presented and discussed:

  • GT1 – Analysis of automation needs and development of autonomous robotics solutions
  • GT2 – Pilot tests of autonomous robotics solutions
  • GT3 – Training and financial acceptability device for solutions
  • Transversal Group – Project Management

 

Next Steps:

A calendar proposal for the next meetings (online and in-person) was presented, aiming to regularly monitor the execution of activities and strengthen coordination among partners.

Priority is given to WT1, whose initial development is essential for identifying automation needs and defining the solutions to be implemented. Work plans and the responsibilities of each partner within the different task groups were also detailed.

In summary, FRUCTHOR-IA is presented as an innovative and integrated response to the challenges of the horticultural sector in the Sudoe area, promoting its efficiency, sustainability, and resilience.

The FRUCTHOR-IA consortium is led by the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas – Centro de Automática y Robótica (ES) and includes the following entities:
