Pilot 1a:
Reverse osmosis system at the ETAP of Tiñosillos (Spain) for the removal of nitrates, pesticides, and other contaminants from water. This system will be combined with a stack of electrochemical reactors printed using 3D technology and connected to renewable energy sources, enabling the production of a stream of ozone gas through water electrolysis, which will allow for disinfection and the removal of residual pesticides.
Pilot 1b:
Nanofiltration technology at the ETAP of Nogales (Spain) for the removal of trihalomethane precursors and other disinfection by-products in drinking water. This system will also be combined with a stack of electrochemical reactors printed using 3D technology and connected to renewable energy sources, enabling the production of a stream of ozone gas through water electrolysis, which will allow for disinfection and the removal of residual pesticides.
Pilot 1c:
Pilot reverse osmosis plant for the removal of arsenic due to the high concentration of this contaminant in the area in question (Elvas, Portugal).
