The pilot experience “Verde com Alma” is implemented in the Ave territory as a sustainable wine tourism and agrotourism initiative focused on enhancing local wines, agri-food products and endogenous resources. The pilot aims to structure and strengthen the existing eno- and agrotourism offer by fostering cooperation between municipalities, producers, tourism operators and local stakeholders.
The experience follows a progressive and participatory approach, starting with the creation of a Consultative Forum and the organisation of awareness-raising workshops in each municipality to engage local operators and highlight the potential of sustainable, digitally supported wine tourism adapted to visitors’ expectations. This phase is followed by the collection and analysis of existing tourism offers, the selection of at least 20 operators and the organisation of individual technical visits.
A key component of the pilot is the development of “ID Cards” for each selected producer or operator, enabling the systematisation of information, the qualification of the offer and the creation of integrated wine tourism routes. The pilot seeks to test this collaborative model, collect qualitative and quantitative data and refine the approach in order to strengthen the identity of the Ave territory, increase its tourism visibility and ensure the long-term sustainability of the initiative.
