Wines, competitivity, environment and health policies of the companies in the SUDOE area – support in implementing methodologies

The objective of VINOVERT is to guarantee the long-term competitiveness of the companies of the grape and wine-growing sector of south-west Europe, adapting them to a new type of demand for wines considered “cleaner” from a sanitary and environmental point of view. The project will create experimental wines from plague-resistant grape varieties, analysing their production costs and the amount of pesticide waste they generate compared with traditional varieties. The solutions analysed will include the complete process from the vine to your glass and will seek technical and economic viability based on the assessment of demand in Spain, France, and Portugal which will be subjected to the opinion of consumers.
