The Sudoe MOAI LABS project, finalist of REGIOSTARS 2024
The MOAI LABS project (Sudoe 2014-2020), which fights against unwanted loneliness in elderly people, was a finalist in the 2024 edition in the category “A Social and Inclusive Europe.” This project, carried out by partners from Spain, France, and Portugal, has developed innovative solutions to reduce the isolation of the elderly, strengthen their social ties, and promote their autonomy. The uniqueness of this initiative lies in its co-creation approach, which fully involved the elderly, combining scientific, technical knowledge, and lived experiences.
