The Smart Green Water project, funded by the Interreg SUDOE programme, promotes a transnational mapping that identifies and highlights the main public and semi-public entities supporting the digitalisation of irrigation in south-western Europe. Technological and research centres developing and transferring digital solutions for agricultural irrigation, such as sensors, monitoring systems, digital twins, and management software.
Public entities responsible for water management and promoting innovation in irrigation, including ministries, regional agencies, and river basin authorities.
Training and capacity-building centres offering programmes to improve the digital skills of farmers and technicians in smart irrigation.
Support platforms and networks that facilitate access to information, resources, and technical advice on digital technologies applied to irrigation.
