Gérontopôle Nouvelle-Aquitaine is a public organisation (public interest group) whose founding members are the Regional Health Agency of Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region.
It brings together stakeholders involved in active and healthy ageing in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region: institutions and public bodies; local authorities; research, training and innovation organisations; sanitary, medico-social and social structures; user associations; businesses and economic actors.
Thanks to its Living Lab, user-centred and cross-sectoral approach for innovation, it aims to support the development of new services and devices by involving users and professionals. Its objectives are to encourage pluridisciplinaryresearch to improve the quality of life of older people, promote and share local initiatives and expertise, innovate and support organisational, educational, professional and technological experiments and support the development of local economy focused on ageing well.
