The ESPON programme is launching a major call for tenders to analyse the needs and opportunities of future transnational Interreg cooperation programmes. This strategic study, with a budget of €450,000, will help define the orientations of transnational cooperation for the post-2027 period.

Project objectives
The call for tenders aims to program a project that will produce evidence-based analyses that will inform discussions on strategic objectives and priorities for transnational cooperation post-2027. The results will serve as a common knowledge base for:
- – Programme authorities, in addition to their own territorial analyses
- – The European Commission, with a view to the next programming period
- – The study will cover all 13 geographical areas of the transnational Interreg programmes defined for the period 2021-2027.
