SOLLAGUA shares its progress at The Innovation Pathway 2025

The Innovation Pathway

The European project took part in the ninth edition of the event held in Lisbon, led by the partner Águas do Tejo Atlântico.
The event also featured representatives from other Interreg SUDOE-funded projects, such as GestEAUr and I-ReWater.

Once again, SOLLAGUA, a project researching sustainable solutions for water reuse in rural areas, took part in The Innovation Pathway: Expo & Networking, which held its ninth edition at Alcântara Water Factory (Lisbon) on 25 September.

Under the motto “Challenging the Obvious in the Water Sector,” the event brought together more than 650 participants, 17 national and international speakers, and 27 exhibitors, filling the Alcântara Water Factory with knowledge, sharing, and inspiration.

The Portuguese partner Águas do Tejo Atlântico was responsible for presenting SOLLAGUA’s progress and outlining the current stage of the project, which is now approaching its third and final year of implementation under the Interreg SUDOE programme.

SUDOE synergies

The event also featured the participation of representatives from other Interreg SUDOE-funded initiatives, such as GestEAUr and I-ReWater, which pursue complementary research lines in water management and reuse.

For the SOLLAGUA consortium, these gatherings are essential to strengthen synergies and foster knowledge exchange with other initiatives sharing the same vision: to promote more efficient, resilient and sustainable water management across Southern Europe.
