ACCIONES PILOTO TERRITORIALES

En el marco de BIO4RES se desarrollarán cuatro proyectos piloto con carácter demostrativo, uno en cada uno de los territorios de las entidades socias. Los resultados de los proyectos piloto permitirán definir diferentes ejes de la estrategia de valorización de la biomasa forestal.

Demonstrators for the reuse of water with SBN in the water treatment chain

3 demonstrators created during the project in France, Spain and Portugal. These sites will be the result of the NB-Woll (Water-Oriented Living Labs) strategy aimed at finding the best combination of demand and innovation with the help of 3 Woll (platform). Its design will be based on water demand (quality/quantity), context (uses, locations, stakeholder sensitivity) and regulations. These demonstrators will be adopted by the 3 local authorities responsible for public procurement.

Pinar en Zona Red Natura 2000 (Cehegín, España) 2. Pinar en zona incendiada en Moratalla (Murcía, España) 3. Dehesa en Toledo (Castilla la Mancha, ESpaña) 4. Piloto de Innovación social en Soria 5. Sistema agroforestal en Mértola. 6. Sistema de robles y hayedos en Barrancos. 7. Ecosistema forestal en Nueva Aquitania

PILOTS 1. WATER TREATMENT

Pilot 1a: Reverse osmosis system in Tiñosillos (Spain) for the removal of nitrates, pesticides, and contaminants, combined with 3D-printed electrochemical reactors and renewable energy sources to produce ozone and disinfect water.
Pilot 1b: Nanofiltration system in Nogales (Spain) for the reduction of trihalomethanes and disinfection by-products, combined with 3D technology for ozone production.
Pilot 1c: Pilot reverse osmosis plant in Elvas (Portugal) designed for the removal of arsenic in areas with high contamination levels.

Impacto de tipologías y densidades de vegetación forestal en su protección frente a incendios

Desarrollo e implementación conjunta por el B9-CIM-TTM y el B12-CD Aude, bajo la coordinación del B10-IPB, de una acción piloto demostrativa del impacto de diferentes tipologías y densidades de vegetación forestal en su protección frente a los incendios, incluyendo la monitorización y evaluación de su impacto y transferibilidad. Este piloto será testado en el territorio de Terras de Tras-os-Montes (PT) y Aude (FR) como herramienta innovadora para la prevención y gestión de incendios forestales.

Pilot actions

The GT2 contains the demonstration of 3 pilot actions (in large blocks, although they would be more considering the small variations) that implement new devices and offer new services in different areas of the SUDOE. All of them have an experimental and demonstrative character. Its monitoring (A.2.4) will make it possible to test, evaluate and demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of its application. The results and practices of these pilot actions will be exploited and transferred to other institutions and territories through A.2.5. Collaboration between all partners will be indispensable, enabling pilot actions to be jointly developed and operated in different countries. All of them will be completed during the implementation of the project sufficiently in advance to allow the exploitation and evaluation of the demonstrative character during the project.

Planificación preventiva e intervención rápida para mejora de la prevención y gestión de incendios

Desarrollo e implementación conjunta por el B2-JCyL, B6-DipOurense, B7-UVigo, B11-CNPF NA y B13-SudCharente, bajo la coordinación del BP-DXDM, de una acción piloto demostrativa de la eficacia de la planificación preventiva e intervención rápida para la mejora de la prevención y gestión de los incendios forestales, incluyendo la monitorización y evaluación de su impacto y transferibilidad. Este piloto será testado en ES (Galicia, Castilla y León) y FR (Sud Charente).

Pilot Activities Use of Reclaimed Water in Irrigation

Climate change, overexploitation of aquifers and high demand, among other factors, have made reclaimed water a key asset in water resource management and in the circular economy model. I-ReWater will validate its use in irrigated agriculture, helping to promote greater sustainability of the entire water cycle and water resilience in Europe. It would even reduce the use of inputs (fertilisers) as reclaimed water has a high content of nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus. Thirteen trials are being carried out simultaneously on woody crops (olive trees, vines, hops and almond trees) and two on horticultural crops (industrial tomatoes and watermelons), with analysis of the results at all levels: agronomic, social and environmental.

Modelización del comportamiento de incendios para cuantificar y prevenir su propagación

Desarrollo e implementación conjunta por el B4-Tecnalia y el B12-Aude, bajo la coordinación del B3-Hazi, de una acción piloto demostrativa de la eficacia de la modelización del comportamiento de incendios como herramienta para cuantificar y prevenir su propagación, incluyendo la monitorización y evaluación de su impacto y transferibilidad. Este piloto será testado en el territorio de Euskadi (ES) y Aude (FR) como herramienta innovadora para la prevención y gestión de incendios forestales.
