El proyecto AgroTour SUDOE fomenta el agroturismo como una herramienta clave para dinamizar las zonas rurales de España, Francia y Portugal. A través de la diversificación de ingresos, la valorización de productos locales y la creación de experiencias piloto innovadoras, busca afrontar los retos del sector primario, como la sostenibilidad, el relevo generacional y la competencia externa.
Entre sus actividades clave se encuentran el desarrollo de experiencias piloto agroturísticas, la identificación de actores clave en el sector, la capacitación de productores y el monitoreo de resultados para integrarlos en políticas públicas. AgroTour SUDOE pretende fortalecer el vínculo entre lo rural y lo urbano, contribuyendo al desarrollo económico y social de las áreas rurales del sudoeste europeo.
