The Gers CCI is a public institution whose main objective is to support the development of local enterprises and to contribute to the economic and territorial development of the Gers province. The CCI assists daily an important number of enterprises, in particular SMEs, in various sectors: tourism, services, retail shops, e-commerce, agrifood, aeronautics, construction, etc. In terms of creation of new companies and jobs, the actions of the Gers CCI consist in providing personalized assistance to people who wish to start their company or to take over an existing one.

Promoting and reinforcing the competitiveness of local companies in Gers is one of the priorities of the CCI. A large panel of services is suggested to companies in the following topics:
• Funding
• Entrepreneurship
• Innovation, competitiveness
• Digital transformation
• Sustainable development, circular economy
• Human resources
• Sales development, marketing/ communication
• Economic information and studies, market research
• Export

The objective of the Gers CCI to contribute to the economic development of Gers by assisting local companies in developing their performance and skills. In particular, the CCI foresees to deploy the following actions :
• Enhancing business development, innovation and digital transformation of companies through thematic workshops, tailored-made assistance, study visits, training courses, diagnostics, etc
• Providing digital services to companies to foster accessibility, proximity, interactivity and improvement of their internal processes.

The Gers CCI has strong experience in European/national collaborative projects since over 20 years. It has participated and/or coordinated a significant number of EU cooperation projects, including: 15 INTERREG projects, 1 CIP, 1 Euroregion, 2 LEADER projects, 4 FP7 R&D projects. These projects concerned the following themes: economic development, competitiveness, territorial attractiveness, digital transformation, circular economy, R&D/Innovation, geographical information, geotraceability, sustainable development. The final beneficiaries of these projects were companies in the following sectors: agri-food industry, aeronautics, construction, wines & spirits, retail, services, tourism, etc.
