Launch of the 3rd Interreg Sudoe call: Focus on capitalisation

Following two standard calls for projects that supported 76 transnational projects, the Interreg Sudoe programme is launching its third call for proposals, fully focused on capitalisation, with the aim of enhancing the visibility of results from previous calls.

What is capitalisation?

Capitalisation projects are designed as federating projects that bring together the results and outputs produced by standard projects funded under the Sudoe 2021‑2027 calls and the Sudoe 2014‑2020 programme, within a specific thematic area.

Unlike standard projects, which focus on developing thematic solutions on the ground, capitalisation projects analyse, synthesise and disseminate existing results, create synergies between projects and convey their outcomes to policy makers and European institutional networks.

Mission of the capitalisation project

The project will animate a community of standard projects around a common theme. It will bring together and promote their results, ensure their transfer at transnational level and contribute to their integration into national and European public policies.

Themes open to capitalisation

Applications must fall under one of the following three themes:

Theme 1
Water resource management

With particular attention to:

  • management of water uses

  • adaptation to climate change
  • digitalisation of processes

Theme 3 Ageing population

With particular attention to:

  • active ageing and good health

The text of the call includes a list of Interreg Sudoe projects for the 2014–2020 and 2021–2027 periods, grouped by theme.
