Summary

1.2. Benchmarking and identification of Best Practices (BPs) All partners have collaborated in the identification of good practices in the agrotourism sector in their respective territories. In total, 30 good practices have been identified in the different territories participating in the project. These good practices will guide, together with the identification of key actors (activity 1.1), the preparation of the pilot experiences planned during the year 2025. Description

1.2. Benchmarking and Best Practice (BPs) Identification


Activity 1.2., coordinated by the Fundación Ávila, consists of the collaborative development of a benchmarking of good practices related to agrotourism applicable to the Sudoe territory.

The objective is to have a knowledge base potentially transferable to the design of the pilot experiences foreseen by the AgroTour project. Therefore, initiatives linked to the aspects on which the project focuses its attention will be sought, such as:

  • Green transition and implementation of measures linked to the European Green Deal.
  • Digital transition and innovative promotion tools.
  • Diversification and deseasonalisation.
  • Deconcentration and promotion of alternative or complementary tourist destinations.
  • Attention to diversity, adapted tourism and agro-tourism quality management.
  • Social responsibility, promotion of quality employment and professionalisation.
  • Governance and networking, including at transnational level.
