AIDA CCI, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Aveiro (Portugal), will host the webinar “Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for the Future of Industry” on May 27, as part of the REMAIN – Robotic REMAnufacturing of deformable INdustrial products project, co-financed by the Interreg Sudoe Programme through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
REMAIN is led by Inescop – Footwear Technology Centre, with the participation of the Universities of Zaragoza, Alicante, Coimbra, and Clermont Auvergne INP; the Spanish Federation of Footwear Industries (FICE); French company SMA-RTY; Spanish company Automática y Control Numérico S.L.; AIDA CCI; and the social association Proyecto Lázaro as a collaborating entity.
This initiative aims to raise awareness in the industrial sector about the importance of digitalisation and sustainability as key drivers of competitiveness, promoting knowledge transfer among research centres, companies, and innovation support entities.
