AMAYA holds a conference in Seville: Circular Economy of Water – Use of Regenerated Water in Agriculture

AMAYA celebra en Sevilla la Jornada: Economía circular del Agua – Uso de agua regenerada en agricultura

This conference has been designated as an Official EU Green Week 2025 Partner Event and, within the framework of the I-ReWater project, is intended to be a day of participation and awareness raising.

The conference is scheduled to be opened by the Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, Consolación Vera Sánchez, and will continue with the opening speech by Agustina López from the Directorate-General for Water of the MITECO.

The rest of the conference will be divided into five thematic blocks (Risk Management Plan for Regenerated Water, Situation of Reuse in Andalusia, Presentation of I-ReWater, Models for Fertigation Management, and Sustainability, Circular Economy and Social Acceptance) and will conclude with a round table discussion and a participatory process involving the attendees.

The conference is organised in collaboration with the I-ReWater Consortium and, in particular, the University of Santiago de Compostela.
