The I-ReWater project has received its second award, being recognised with the Prémio Vida Rural in the ‘R&D that Makes a Mark’ category by the Portuguese magazine Vida Rural. The award was collected by INIAV partners Paulo Brito, Ilda Caldeira and José Silvestre, and presented by EDIA – Empresa de Desenvolvimento e Infra-estruturas do Alqueva, S.A.
The 2025 Rural Life Awards closed the 12th edition of the AGROIN Annual Agribusiness Congress, which took place yesterday, 24 April, in Lisbon (Portugal). These awards annually recognise individuals, companies, projects and investments that stand out in Portuguese agriculture and agribusiness.
I-ReWater’s first prize was the award for best poster at the 1st REUSE EUROMED 2024 Congress – Euro-Mediterranean Conference on Wastewater Reuse, held on 29 October 2024 in Montpellier, France.
During the event, Adrián Agraso Otero, a researcher at CRETUS, Cross-disciplinary Research in Environmental Technologies, presented his work on the results of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study managed by the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences of La Rioja.
