On 17 July 2025, HOPEN will organise an awareness day and open house at the Taizé-Aizie hop pilot project in the Aquitaine region of France to showcase the work being done to study the use of reclaimed water in this crop.
The day will be an opportunity to discuss deficit irrigation and the reuse of treated wastewater, as well as to learn about the experimental device installed in the hop field. In addition, there will be a tasting of beers made from hops grown in Galicia and Castile and León, an activity that has already been part of other events. The event will be rounded off with a visit to the field with producers Cédric and James Masset.
