Pilot actions for the creation of ecological corridors in fragmented SUDOE landscapes.

Summary

Description

This realization includes two pilot activities focused on the creation of ecological corridors for pollinators: (i) in agricultural and forest landscapes in fragmented rural environments, and (ii) in urban and peri-urban areas. Each of the pilot activities will be carried out in two SUDOE zones, where nature-based solutions will be implemented, such as the restoration of floral strips with native species, the installation of water points, and the creation of suitable habitats for pollinator nesting. These actions will also include the application of vegetation management practices that favor the availability of floral resources throughout the year. The project will seek to involve local public administrations and the community in pollinator conservation, promoting awareness and participation in each territory.
