Open Innovation Methodology as a solution to bring together the ecosystems involved within the project framework and facilitate the adoption of spatial solutions in the agricultural sector. A call for agricultural challenges will be launched through the platform, mainly in collaboration with the project’s agricultural partners and their networks in the member countries of the SUDOE region. To optimize the collection of agricultural challenges, it will be primarily distributed among public and private organizations that work directly with farmers, providing them with advice, management, and representation. In turn, prior informative and educational webinars will be organized to familiarize farmers with spatial technologies and spark their interest. Furthermore, events will be held in different locations within the SUDOE region to identify the main agricultural challenges.
Likewise, a call for solutions will be launched to respond to the identified agricultural challenges. This call will also be available on the collaborative platform and will be disseminated through the aerospace networks of the clusters. Events covering the SUDOE region will also be organized to promote active participation from companies. In parallel, the collaborative platform will play a central role in connecting agricultural challenges with spatial solution providers and will be equipped with a B2B matchmaking tool that will allow for qualifying and cross-referencing agricultural challenges with proposed solutions. Farmers and companies in the space sector will also receive personalized support from the agricultural partners and aerospace clusters present in the consortium. The leader of this pilot will provide all necessary reference documentation to formalize agreements between farmers and spatial solution providers (NDA, MoU, intellectual property agreements).
