The strategy for the efficiency of developed solutions and public policy orientation will be the main strategic deliverable of the project.
This strategy is not merely a compilation of results obtained in WG2. Instead, it is a strategic document inspired by the knowledge gained and experiences shared among project partners. The efficiency and policy orientation report will contain, in a clear and understandable format, a series of recommendations for improving public policies on water resource management for agricultural purposes, focusing on:
Measures to promote research and development of precision agriculture tools applied to agricultural irrigation.
Strengthening the capacities of involved actors by incorporating decision-support tools into the agricultural productive fabric.
Recommendations for regulating water use in agricultural activities in situations where there are restrictions on irrigation water allocation.
At the methodological level, the participation of associated partners, mainly water agencies, will be promoted. This is to understand their needs and constraints, thereby enabling the provision of precise and realistic policy recommendations.
