Action Plan for SUDOE Viticulture: The Interconnected Think Tanks
The action plan related to WG2 is based on the implementation of a system of 3 interconnected SUDOE Think Tanks (one in each country). These Think Tanks aim to promote the adoption of agroecological practices in viticulture across the entire SUDOE region.

This action plan represents the establishment of a forum for analysis, discussion, and coordination among key interest groups. Its purpose is to lay the technical groundwork for the principles of regenerative viticulture, adapted to the diverse climates and soils of the SUDOE area. According to this action plan, the positive and negative consequences of adopting regenerative viticulture principles in the SUDOE area will be analyzed with maximum depth and breadth at the sectoral, political, market, and social levels.

To achieve this, the Think Tanks will focus on analyzing the wine sector, fostering discussion among interested stakeholders, promoting innovation, and exchanging knowledge between involved parties. Activity WG2.1 will define the calendar, actions, responsibilities, and tasks of each partner to jointly develop this action plan, which will conclude in M33. It will be adopted for implementation by INNOVI, INNO’VIN, ADVID, APPITAD, CIM-TTM, and VITEC during the project execution, with the objective of its medium- to long-term permanence in the regions. These systems are designed to leave their mark and impact at a political and social level, and will resonate within the European wine sector, which is increasingly affected by the impacts of climate change.
