The proposed Operational Strategy aims to design and develop an experiential social innovation program within the SUDOE area. Its main objective is to improve the employability of young people in rural areas who face socio-professional integration difficulties.
This program, based on the use of nature sports, seeks to enhance young people’s life skills, equipping them with the necessary tools to succeed in an increasingly complex professional and social environment. Through an innovative approach, the program will encourage young people to develop key competencies such as stress management, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, communication, and teamwork.
Nature sports, as physical and collective activities, offer concrete experiences and real-life situations that foster experimental learning. Young people will participate in workshops and outdoor immersion sessions, allowing them to step out of their comfort zones while learning new skills useful in their professional and social lives.
This program is framed within a sustainable approach, leveraging local resources in rural areas. It will also foster the creation of networks among local actors, educational structures, and businesses, aiming to build bridges between young people and the labor market. Through regional and transnational alliances, the initiative will ensure access to professional information and opportunities and support the transition towards sustainable and inclusive employment.
The ultimate goal is to provide these young people with the necessary competencies to succeed in a constantly evolving labor market, while simultaneously strengthening local capacities to support young people in their socio-professional integration.
