Action Plan to foster stakeholder engagement and strengthen the network of third places

Summary

Description

Action Plan to Foster Engagement and Strengthen the Rural Agri-food Third Places Network
To facilitate the adoption of the recommendations from our White Paper (A3.2), we will jointly develop and deploy an Action Plan in each country (N-A Region, FAB’LIM, Coop TL- FR, JuntaEX, Fund. Repoblación- ES, CIMBAL- PT). This plan is designed to foster the commitment of public authorities and strengthen the rural network of agri-food third places.

At the institutional level, the Action Plan will include a series of meetings with the public authorities within our consultation mechanism (A3.2). The objective is to provide them with illustrated examples of measures they could incorporate into their social economy, food, or rural development policies to better address the needs of agri-food third places. These meetings will also be an opportunity to present concrete proposals for adapting or developing existing public mechanisms or legal frameworks to overcome the most frequent obstacles faced by agri-food third places.

At the operational level, the Action Plan will include information and training sessions to familiarize rural communities with the concept of agri-food third places as a potential path for collective entrepreneurship. It will also equip structures capable of fostering or supporting such initiatives (agricultural and rural development associations, incubators, and social economy networks) by transferring our impulse and acceleration program to them. To implement the Action Plan, we will draw upon all capitalization materials developed during the project (mapping, typology, initiative portraits, documentaries, etc.).
