Great news! The DIGI TVC project, co-funded by the Interreg Sudoe 2014-2020 programme, is a finalist in the REGIOSTARS 2025 Awards, which recognise the best European projects!
What is DIGI TVC?
A project that helps small textile businesses in south-western Europe (Spain, France, Portugal) to modernise through digital technologies.
Why is it important?
Because this project shows in concrete terms how Europe is investing in:
- The modernisation of our local industries
- Waste reduction and environmental protection
- The preservation of jobs and know-how
- Innovation accessible to small businesses

- In Spain: A textile company now uses smart sensors to reduce its water and energy consumption.
- In France: Interactive videos enable new employees to be trained twice as fast.
- In Portugal: Artificial intelligence automatically detects defects, preventing the waste of 744 kg of fabric in six months.
