More than 50 professionals from the European innovation ecosystem took part in the Invest2Impact event, hosted by CTA on 23 October in Seville.
The beneficiaries of the first SCAIRA call had the opportunity to present their projects to investors and funds, as well as to explore collaborations with other entrepreneurs and start-ups as part of Service 14 of the acceleration programme.
Over 50 professionals from the European innovation ecosystem — including entrepreneurs, investors, institutional representatives and technology experts — gathered on 23 October at Fundación MAS in Seville to take part in Invest2Impact – Accelerating European Projects through Strategic Investment. The event, organised by CTA, the Spanish partner, within the framework of the European projects In Transit and SCAIRA, served as a meeting point between two complementary initiatives: the closing event of In Transit, which, with the support of Horizon Europe, has promoted the sustainable and digital transformation of the textile sector over the past three years; and the implementation of Service 14 of the SCAIRA acceleration programme, aimed at facilitating direct connections between project beneficiaries and companies, investors and other start-ups through B2B and B2F meetings to foster collaboration and funding opportunities.
Following the welcome speech, the main results of In Transit were presented, including outstanding initiatives such as EOM2D.2, BIORE-DYE, D-DOGSE, CIRCULARTECH, INOSCOPE, AVTEX and DREAM — all of which showcase the potential of European SMEs to lead the shift towards more digital and sustainable industrial models.

The section dedicated to SCAIRA — which has just launched its third and final call — highlighted the role of acceleration and early-stage investment in the growth of tech start-ups, as well as the value of providing comprehensive support. Three of the four beneficiaries from the first call — Kevin Mandrick (Made In Tracker), Javier Carrillo (Setenova) and entrepreneur Raúl Segura — presented their solutions to experts and investors, reflecting the diversity of talent within the Sudoe ecosystem.
Innovate, Accelerate, Invest
During the round table Impact Investing: Business Angels in Europe, representatives from AXON Partners Group, EONIQ fund, Plug and Play Spain, and Murcia-Ban discussed trends in impact investment and the role of business angels in driving sustainable and scalable projects.
The event concluded with a networking session between beneficiaries and investors, which led to new partnerships and collaboration opportunities beyond the European framework. SCAIRA partners CEEIM and FUNDECYT also attended the event, travelling to the Andalusian capital to join the occasion.
