As part of the An-Gel Sudoe project, partner NEIKER BRTA has begun fieldwork at the OSTATU winery, located in Laguardia (Basque Country). The activities focus on evaluating different pruning dates as an adaptation technique to climate change in vineyards.

These actions form part of the project’s pilot trials and aim to assess how vineyard management can help reduce damage caused by spring frosts, a phenomenon that is becoming increasingly frequent and significantly affects agriculture and arboriculture.

With these developments, An-Gel Sudoe continues to advance its objective of promoting adaptation, prevention, and mitigation practices to build a more resilient agriculture across the Sudoe territory.
