On 2–3 October 2025, the partners of the An-GEL Sudoe project met at the headquarters of INVENIO in Douville (France) to continue advancing the technical activities and coordination of the project. The meeting took place within the framework of PERIFEL 2025, an event dedicated to climate change adaptation in agriculture and to protection strategies against spring frosts.

During the session “Climate change adaptation: protection against spring frosts”, the partners presented the pilot trials and tools developed within the project. Presentations included: project context and objectives (ACMG), pilot trial in chestnut orchards (Invenio-fl), late pruning in vineyards in Rioja Alavesa (NEIKER BRTA), early frost warning systems (HYDS), active and passive vineyard techniques (Chambre d’agriculture de la Dordogne) and frost risk and alerts in the Region of Murcia (IMIDA).

The programme also included a field visit to the chestnut orchards of INVENIO, where practical solutions for reducing frost damage are being tested. On 3 October, a coordination meeting was held to review progress and plan upcoming activities.
