As part of the European Interreg Sudoe AgriTech project, developed between France, Spain and Portugal, the project partners, including Inno’Vin and Bordeaux Sciences Agro, have carried out a comprehensive assessment of the level of digitisation of small wine-growing farms in New Aquitaine.
The aim of this assessment is to gain a better understanding of the current level of digitisation of these farms and to identify the support mechanisms needed to accelerate the sector’s digital transition. It was carried out in the following stages:
• Synthesis of existing studies on digitisation in the wine industry.
• Qualitative analysis based on interviews with key players in the digital transition (public institutions, inter-professional organisations, technical institutes, consultants, cooperatives, suppliers, etc.).
• Results of a quantitative survey of 216 winegrowers in the region.
The results were presented on 27 February 2026 during the Club DigiLab meeting held at Château Luchey Halde in Mérignac. The event brought together professionals from the wine sector and experts in innovation.
During the session, Maeva Breuil (Inno’Vin) and Nathalie Toulon (Bordeaux Sciences Agro) presented the results of the assessment carried out as part of AgriTech project.
The meeting, which was also broadcast online, concluded with a question and answer session and a review of the upcoming DigiLab Club calendar.
