Pharmacy students from the Escola Superior de Tecnologia da Saúde do Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra visited the 3D Biological Systems Visualisation Room of the RePo-SUDOE at the Instituto Politécnico da Guarda.
The initiative, organised in collaboration between the RePo-SUDOE teams from the Sociedade Portuguesa de Saúde Pública and the Instituto Politécnico da Guarda, enabled students to explore innovative scientific visualisation technologies applied to the health field.
During the visit, participants deepened their understanding of drug repurposing, an approach focused on identifying new therapeutic uses for existing medicines. The activity provided a learning experience that strengthens the link between academic training and scientific research.
