The European HITTS project, funded by the Interreg Sudoe programme, has presented a new “Toolkit for Private Sector Participation in Cultural Heritage Projects”, a practical guide aimed at strengthening public-private collaboration in rural territories. The document provides tools, collaboration models, and successful case studies to facilitate the involvement of companies, foundations, and local stakeholders in initiatives focused on the conservation and enhancement of cultural and natural heritage. The toolkit also addresses issues such as sponsorship, patronage, fundraising, and corporate volunteering, showing how these approaches can contribute to sustainable development, economic revitalisation, and territorial cohesion within the SUDOE area.
