The RESINSURF project heads into its final stretch with a major Technical Event at Advanced Manufacturing Madrid

The RESINSURF project is entering its final months of execution with its sights set on its most crucial milestone: transferring and presenting its results to the industrial sector. Following a long journey of joint development focused on finding more competitive, sustainable surface treatments aligned with current regulatory requirements, the consortium is already gearing up for its Final Event.

This closing meeting will take place on November 4th and 5th in Madrid, taking advantage of the strategic framework of the Advanced Manufacturing Madrid (IFEMA) fair, the leading meeting point in Spain for advanced manufacturing and surface treatment.

An agenda designed for the sector and the consortium

The event has been structured into three main blocks designed both to give external visibility to the project and to coordinate the final internal steps of the partners:

  • November 4th (15:00 – 17:00) | Technical Session at the TECH FORUM: Under the title “Superficies que Cumplen Hoy y Compiten Mañana: Tratamientos de Superficie Competitivos en un Entorno Normativo Exigente” (Surfaces that Deliver Today and Compete Tomorrow: Competitive Surface Treatments in a Demanding Regulatory Environment), AIAS and CIDETEC will coordinate a high-level technical session. The day will include talks from leading companies, case studies on implementing Cr(VI)-free processes, and an industry round table featuring business leaders.
  • November 4th (17:00 – 18:00) | Cocktail & Networking: Following the presentations, an interaction space will be available to strengthen commercial ties, resolve technical doubts, and foster collaboration between attendees and project members.
  • November 5th (10:00 – 13:00) | Demo & Coffee Networking Hub (AIAS Stand): During the morning of the second day, the AIAS stand will transform into a dynamic meeting point. Attendees can drop by for a coffee, interact directly with the RESINSURF team, and see live demonstrators showcasing the technologies and finishes developed throughout the project.

Official closing: Consortium Meeting

To top off the project, on November 6th, the consortium partners will meet formally in a closed working session in Madrid. During this meeting, they will review the achieved objectives, final conclusions, and the roadmap to follow after the end of the project.

The RESINSURF consortium invites you to block these dates in your calendars. We will soon open the registration period for the technical sessions and share the detailed agenda for the presentations.

We look forward to seeing you in Madrid to celebrate the success of this key project for the future of industrial surfaces!
