On 15 and 16 July 2026, the 13 partners of the European Agrobotics-DiTwins project gathered at the Bilbao School of Engineering of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) to review the progress made so far and coordinate the next steps towards the launch of the pilot programme.
The meeting focused on the project’s technical development, the activation of its transnational network of Living Labs and the definition of a common approach to support participating companies throughout the co-creation process.
Partners also discussed the capabilities and services of the different Living Labs, the identification of business needs, the selection of relevant use cases and the preparation of the next implementation phase.
The agenda included coordination and technical sessions, presentations from the participating Living Labs and a visit to the UPV/EHU Living Lab facilities.
Communication and outreach activities were also addressed, with a focus on promoting the opportunities offered by the project and engaging agricultural and technology SMEs, cooperatives, service providers, business associations and other relevant organisations.
The Bilbao meeting strengthened coordination among the consortium partners and established a shared roadmap for moving from technical preparation to experimentation and co-creation with companies.
