The Union of Cooperatives of the Region of Murcia (Ucomur), together with the Directorate General for Social Economy and Self-Employment, is organizing the Region of Murcia Social Economy and Rural Entrepreneurship Fair on September 30th. This event is part of the Interreg Sudoe ResilientES project and aims to bring options and opportunities for entrepreneurship within the Social Economy closer to people living in rural areas.
Featuring around thirty stands and an estimated attendance of three hundred people, the fair aims to show entrepreneurs from the region’s most rural areas that it is possible to create cooperatives and Social Economy enterprises that address local needs.
The fair will include talks, workshops, and even a live podcast recording, offering a firsthand look at cooperative experiences and entrepreneurial success stories within the Social Economy model.
This initiative seeks to continue promoting and fostering the Social Economy—including in rural areas—in line with the goals of the Interreg Sudoe ResilientES project (co-financed by the European Union).
The Region of Murcia Social Economy and Rural Entrepreneurship Fair will help generate synergies and share initiatives within the regional Social Economy, enabling local communities to flourish and prosper in a dynamic economic and social environment.
