I am an Assistant Researcher at the Centre for Organizational and Social Studies (CEOS.PP) and a Lecturer at Porto Accounting and Business School (ISCAP), part of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. I hold a PhD in Economics (2023) from the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto (FEP.UP), where I specialised in Development and Environmental Economics. During my doctoral studies, I also worked as a research assistant at INESC TEC, gaining solid experience in Operations Research, multi-objective optimisation methods, Python programming, and information systems. After completing my PhD, I undertook a postdoctoral position at the University of Minho, with a focus on Environmental Economics. I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Data Science and Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). I have four years of teaching experience in statistics, applied statistics, and research methodologies at both undergraduate and master’s levels, as well as over eight years of research experience. My work focuses on the application of quantitative methods and models—including optimisation, econometric analysis, and multi-criteria decision-making—to socio-economic, environmental, and sustainability-related contexts. I am the author of one doctoral thesis and 14 peer-reviewed scientific publications, including journal articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. My main research interests include sustainability, development economics, applied economics, environmental economics, multi-criteria decision-making, data analysis, and operations research.
