With the activities of the first Working Group (WG) practically concluded, at this 3rd meeting, held on 26th March, the ongoing activities of the second WG ‘Integration of green hydrogen production and storage’ were presented, in particular the work carried out for the implementation of a platform that allows the prediction of green hydrogen production and storage in renewable energy communities. Directly related to this first activity of the second WG, the work plan for the second activity ‘Models for the integration of green hydrogen in renewable energy communities’ was also presented.

In addition to the administrative and financial issues addressed at this meeting, the next steps for the implementation of the three pilot actions to be developed within the scope of SHARDEH2-SUDOE were also presented, namely Pilot Action 1 – Implementation of a renewable energy community in Bembibre (Spain), Pilot Action 2 – Green hydrogen storage and promotion of sustainable mobility (France) and Pilot Action 3 – Integration of green hydrogen in the transport sector (Portugal).

Also within the framework of the 3rd partners’ meeting, on the morning of 27th March, a technical visit was organised to the company PRF – Gas, Tecnología y Construcción. As it is a leading company in the Natural Gas and Hydrogen sector, during the visit practical cases of hydrogen use in a real context were presented and discussed, and the project partners had the opportunity to see in situ the production of equipment for the use of hydrogen, specifically hydrogen refuelling stations, including the mobile hydrogen refuelling station (PHRS – Portable Hydrogen Refuelling Station).
