The Mancomunidad of Sustainable Municipalities of Cantabria presented the ResilientES project during the working sessions of the European REGEN project, which was held in Laredo on the 14th and 15th October 2026.
During the session, aimed at representatives of organisations and institutions from six European countries participating in REGEN, the Mancomunidad outlined its main areas of focus, as well as the European initiatives it is developing in the fields of sustainability, the conservation of natural heritage and territorial development.
During the session, aimed at representatives of organisations and institutions from six European countries participating in REGEN, the Mancomunidad presented its various projects, including the ResilientES Project (INTERREG SUDOE). The project’s main areas of focus were outlined as promoting youth entrepreneurship and the cooperative movement, developing pilot actions, identifying new economic opportunities linked to local resources, and creating spaces for knowledge exchange and support for social economy organisations. The project also foresees the development of a transnational strategy to promote the revitalisation of rural areas.
