On 16 October, project partner Instituto de Ciencias de la Vid y del Vino (ICVV) held the I-ReWater 2026 Awareness-Raising and Open Day, attended by around 35 people interested in learning about the progress and results of the initiative.
The event provided an opportunity to share the conclusions of three years of research on the use of reclaimed water for vineyard irrigation and to introduce participants to the experimental work carried out by ICVV.
The programme also included two technical visits: one to the La Grajera wastewater treatment plant, to learn about the water reclamation process, and another to the project’s experimental plot, where participants were able to observe in situ the irrigation system and the sensors used to monitor the trial.
The event provided an opportunity to share knowledge, bring research closer to society and continue promoting solutions that contribute to more efficient and sustainable water use in agriculture.
