The conference ‘Circular water economy – Use of reclaimed water in urban applications (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and agricultural applications – I-ReWater’, organised by our partner Gestagua, will be part of the parallel events of EU Green Week. The conference will take place on 26 June in Madrid.
The aim of this meeting is to raise awareness of the use of reclaimed water in irrigated agriculture, exploring its viability and potential in the current context. Key issues will be addressed, such as the concerns of the agricultural sector and the possibilities offered by new projects, such as I-ReWater, with 15 pilot experiences in the SUDOE region.
European Green Week 2025, the major environmental conference organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for the Environment, will take place from 3 to 5 June 2025 in Brussels (Belgium). Among the activities planned are various political debates with experts on the circular use of resources and parallel events with industry leaders.
