The strategy of the HITTS project (Heritage, Innovation, Territory, Tourism and Sustainability) continues to be presented across the participating territories. Following its presentation in Spain and France, the strategy was also presented in Portugal on 24 September, during the 1st Smart Villages Forum held in Sardoal.
During the event, the main elements of the HITTS Strategy were presented, focusing on enhancing heritage as a resource to foster the socio-economic development of rural territories and promote sustainable tourism models.
Participation in the 1st Smart Villages Forum provided an opportunity to share the project’s approaches and results with other stakeholders involved in rural development, strengthening the transfer of the strategy and the exchange of experiences between territories.
