Cultural pilots 4: Educational cultural mediation actions.

Summary

Description

Pilot Implementation: Co-defining Cultural Programming Through Nodes
The implementation of this pilot is a core deliverable of the project, serving as one of four concrete activities where the participatory methodology for co-defining cultural programming will be tested through designated nodes.

Specifically, these activities aim to bring heritage and culture closer to diverse audiences. Through workshops, talks, and interactive activities, we’ll foster active community participation in the process of cultural learning and appreciation. We’ll also emphasize the valorization of rural anthropological heritage for visitors from outside the community. These initiatives promote social inclusion, intercultural understanding, and the strengthening of local identity.

Special attention will be given to developing participatory processes that consider the following fundamental aspects:

Community participation with shared decision-making focused on community empowerment.

Valorization of intangible heritage, placing the community at the heart of culture.

Focus on equity, inclusion, and urban-rural rebalancing.

Considering these aspects, the co-design of educational cultural mediation actions with relevant stakeholders and local communities could include:

Selection of content for cultural mediation and target audiences.

Expected mediation outcomes and long-term sustainability.

Training for local mediators involving both communities and external visitors.

Community management models for mediation.

Actions for economic revitalization, dissemination, and tourism promotion.
