SustForestPlus promotes the economic sector of natural resin within Europe: it provides solutions to satisfy the existing demand of the industry and generated stable employment of quality within rural areas, while it promotes resin’ s commercial and technological value. In this sense, SustForest Plus provides tools for the assessment, preservation and improvement of the resource in order to guarantee its direct application to thousand hectares of resin forests. Furthermore, SustForest plus is a European Network of Resin Territories which favors the implementation of sustainable management plans in the long term.
