The Biosoludoe strategy will propose a jointly developed method to enhance the adoption and application of biosolutions in agriculture across the SUDOE area. It’s designed to complement existing national and regional strategies.
Through pilot actions, demonstration projects, and training programs for farmers and other value chain actors, the strategy will offer solutions for implementing biosolution-based integrated crop disease management strategies (BIPMS). It will guide relevant stakeholders toward the available means of action to support the sustainability of the tested solutions (BIPMS and training programs) throughout the project.
This strategy will be broken down into 5 roadmaps/action plans for each region involved in the project. These roadmaps will define realistic yet ambitious objectives (considering each region’s constraints and priorities) to support the development of the proposed solutions. They’ll describe the actions, resources (economic and regulatory levers, public policies), and governance needed to unite stakeholders and accelerate the deployment of biosolutions. This could include actions such as: strengthening regional actor networking, developing dedicated information channels, supporting research projects and business innovations, facilitating regulatory application, developing initial and continuous training, and more.
These roadmaps will be disseminated among the various involved stakeholders to encourage their short- and medium-term implementation. The Biosoludoe strategy will also be presented at various national, transnational, and European events to promote its transfer to other European regions.
