Joint implementation strategy through public health policies for MAG

Summary

Description

Joint Strategy for Implementing Mentorship Services in AG (MAG)
The project will develop a joint strategy that aligns the implementation of mentorship services in AG (MAG – Mentoring in Geriatrics) with public health policy priorities. This will promote the integration of best practices and strengthen the healthcare network.

This strategy will include:

Definition of Strategic Guidelines: The project involves designing an approach with the participation of healthcare professionals, hospital managers, and policymakers. This collaboration will allow for outlining clear guidelines for the implementation of the MAG program, ensuring coherence with public health policy objectives.

Adaptation to Local Needs: The strategy will be adapted to the specificities of hospitals, ensuring that MAG responds to the needs identified in previous sessions. This data will enable the creation of effective action plans that respect available resources and the particularities of local contexts.

Promotion of Inter-institutional Collaboration: One of the pillars of the project will be the promotion of synergies among hospital institutions, public bodies, and training organizations. This articulation will contribute to the development of a replicable and sustainable model that can be integrated into different hospital environments and care networks.

Creation of Operational Instruments: The project will include the development of guides and protocols for MAG services, with special attention to supervision and practices that promote the well-being and quality of professionals. These instruments will support the implementation of a structured model that is simultaneously flexible and applicable to different contexts.

Impact and Sustainability: The joint strategy’s ultimate goal is the inclusion of the MAG program as a structural component of health services. Regular evaluation of results will allow for measuring its effectiveness, contributing to the creation of public policies.
